I figured it was time to do an update on my CT lipstick collection as it’s been a while. However, there are now so many that I’ve had to split it into two posts, so today we’ll take a look at the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution shades. I currently have 30, and I’m pretty sure that I have every shade (I could be wrong). Some of these lipsticks are from the Hot Lips range but I have included them as they are in the Matte Revolution formula.
I’m lucky enough to have backups of many of the shades – I’m that girl who has the ones I wear and then the ones I photograph … it’s a problem I know. Where possible I have used either a new lipstick or one with little use for the photographs as I like them to look pretty. Please tell me that I’m not the only person who does this? Has my Charlotte Tilbury obsession finally gotten out of control?
Matte Revolution – the words on everyones lips!
Create the illusion of fuller, wider lips with my Matte Revolution – for lips that look lit from within.
It’s a trick I use all the time on photo shoots, using lighting trickery, pigments and powders, and have been working for years to re-create this effect in the slick of 1 lipstick. Now everyone can create this full, matte lip effect in a long-lasting, buildable, hydrating formula – it’s the matte lipstick of the future!
Exclusively enriched with Lipstick Tree extract which protects lips and is a natural anti-oxidant, and Orchid Extract which soothes and hydrates for a soft, buildable cashmere finish. Layer and build the color to create the intensity you want, from a light-as-air matte stain to dramatic full-velvet coverage. Colour glides on easily and precisely, thanks to the specially shaped square-tip, inspired by the classic shape of a lip brush.
The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks are the most comfortable and creamiest mattes that I have ever tried. They’re not drying and stay in place for hours – I always layer mine over the top of a Lip Cheat to give them even longer staying power.
There’s a shade to suit everyone, so keep reading to see which shade might be the one for you.
