Summer is here and that means holidays so the Glossybox Holiday Haul box is the ideal box for those of you jetting away someway lovely.
Now I totally forgot to blog about last month’s box (it was lovely), as life is beyond stressful and hectic at the moment so sorry about that. However, I’ve got my arse into gear this month and I think you’re going to love this month’s box. If you’re not already a Glossie then you can subscribe here.
First up there’s an old favourite … I think most of us have tried Moroccanoil at some point.
The treatment is a blend of antioxidant-rich organ oil and shine boosting vitamins and my hair loves it. I don’t need to use a lot of it, but I like to smooth a bit over my hair before I blow dry it. Humidity also does Monica style voodoo to my hair, and the oil is great for smoothing frizz and calming those flyaway hairs. It also helps to protect your hair against sun damage, so is an ideal holiday essential.
Next there’s a lovely gradual tanner from Palmer’s in a handy travel size.
I’m so pale and I don’t always get on with self-tan, but this is easy to use and because it is a gradual tan you can ease yourself into it. I like the formula of this and didn’t find it to be sticky, although you do need to remember to wash your hands after use. Just apply once a day in the days leading up to your holiday and you can hit that beach with confidence.
I love Omorovicza and have never been let down by any of their products so to see them in Glossybox is amazing.
This travel size cleanser is really nice and easily removes your makeup and impurities. It also energises and revitalises the skin which is just what you need after being out in the sun. If you’ve never tried anything from Omorvicza, I can guarantee that you’ll quickly become a convert.
You can’t beat a good mascara, especially in Summer as some days that’s the most I bother with.
I haven’t tried anything from Manna Kadar in so long and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this mascara is. The wand has ultra-dense bristles which creates longer and fuller-looking lashes. My lashes are crap without mascara, so I’ve enjoyed using this. It has a nice hydrating formula that doesn’t clump or flake.
I love face masks and hadn’t tried this brand before and I really liked it.
Sometimes charcoal can be drying on my skin, but thanks to the infusion of tea tree and witch hazel, my skin felt lovely after use. It gives a really deep cleanse and you are left with clearer and brighter skin. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more from this brand in the future.
