It’s Mintd time again and this month we have the Mintd Box Clean Beauty Edit. I bloody love getting this box and if you’re a skincare junkie like me then you will love it.
Your beauty should be free of additives, toxins and unpronounceable nasties. What you apply should be akin to what you consume, good for you both inside and out.Mintd Box
Clean beauty seems to be a big thing at the moment, so the Mintd Box Clean Beauty Edit is bang on trend and ideal if you are concerned with ingredients and what you put on your face and body.
I love Votary – their facial oils are to die for – so as soon as I saw the Rose Geranium & Apricot Cleansing Oil, I knew we were in for a good box this month. It is suitable for all skin types and is the perfect product to kick off your skincare regime.
The oil contains a blend of rose, geranium, apricot, sunflower, grapeseed and chamomile oils so it is soothing and also works to restore skin tone. It also deals with excess oil, dirt, impurities and removes your makeup quickly and easily. I’ve been loving using this and it also comes with a really nice face cloth that doesn’t feel harsh on your skin.
I am a huge lover of facial oils and I’m not familiar with Oilixia, so I’m more than happy to have been introduced to a beautiful new product. I’ve been using this in the morning and evening after cleansing and before moisturising and I have been loving it.
The oil is great if you’re a retinol lover as it contains Cacay oil from the Amazonian Cacay Tree. This oil contains more retinol that Rosehip and more Vitamins E and F than Argan Oil. As well as the Cacay, there’s also Amazonian Lily extract, Brazil nut oil and Buriti oil. The result is that your surface skin cells are renewed and your skin is replenished. Not only are you left with gorgeous skin, but the production of this oil helps support reforestation programmes as well as the local families.
Dafna is another brand that I’m not familiar with. This is what I love about Mintd Box, they mix it up with lesser known brands alongside the big boys. It’s a great way to discover brands that you might not have thought of trying before.
Eye Care contains natural ingredients and is designed to improve both the skin tone and also the texture around the eye area. Along with 16 potent actives, it is also enriched with Rosehip oil and Calendula extract to reduce fine lines and puffiness. If you use the oil regularly, you’ll notice that the eye contour is tighter and brighter.
ILA SPA are fast becoming a favourite of mine thanks to their regular appearances in Mintd Box. I’d just finished a Diptyque body scrub when my box arrived, so the timing was perfect. I can be a bit obsessed with scrubs as I hate the feeling of dry skin.
Now this isn’t just any old body scrub – it has been designed for a ‘blissful experience’. I love how nourishing it feels on the skin and it leaves you with a slight coating of oil so you avoid that dry stripped feeling that some scrubs can leave. Don’t worry if you have skin conditions as the scrub can be beneficial for them and the inclusion of Jasmine will help to lift your spirits.
I have to say that the Mintd Box Clean Edit is a gorgeous selection of skincare delights and I’ve loved trying everything out. You can subscribe to Mintd for £70.00 a month with different options available here.
