Welcome to the beauty box of my dreams. I’m a huge fan of Mintd Box and Sunday Riley are my favourite skincare brand so Mintd Box Presents Sunday Riley is like all of my skincare dreams come true.
I love it when Mintd do these collaboration boxes and they really couldn’t have picked a better brand to pair up with. This is May’s box so subscribers will be getting it, but it is also available to buy as a one-off for £90.00 – you’re going to want to be fast though as I’m pretty sure this is going to sell out.
This month we bring you supercharged formulations to enhance your skin’s quality, restore and correct imbalances. A combination of high-tech innovation, green technology and ingredient integrity delivering immediate and one-term results.
I have quite a large Sunday Riley collection and out of the 5 products included in the box, there’s only one that I hadn’t tried before. I adore Sunday Riley’s products and if you’ve never tried them before then this box is an amazing introduction to the brand.
Let’s kick things off with Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. The full size (firmly on my wish list) is £60.00 but this is a super deluxe size worth £20.00. It’s a decent enough size that would be great for taking on holiday with you.
Tidal works to hydrate, smooth and fight those dreaded signs of ageing. It contains both hyaluronic acid and tamarind acids. These work together to plump and refine the skin as well as tackling the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains naturally derived papaya enzymes that gently exfoliate the skin, whilst alpha-arbutin refines, brightens and evens out the skin. It has a lovely water-based formula that is hydrating, nourishing and creates a moisture barrier to protect the skin from pollutants and the environment.
I love using Tidal when my skin is in need of a moisture hit as it is nice and hydrating. My skin always feels soft, smooth and incredibly nourished after use.
Next we have Auto Correct Brightening & Deputing Eye Contour Cream. This has been on my must try list for quite a while so safe to say I’m thrilled to finally have it. It’s a full-size worth £60.00, so you’ve almost paid for your box with just one product.
Auto Correct is beautifully luxurious and works to refresh, revive and hydrate your tired eyes. It nourishes the delicate eye area and it leaves you with a slightly lifted look. The cream is nice and rich and contains caffeine, shea butter, horse chestnut, ginseng root and watermelon extract. These work to energise, soothe and protect from oxidant damage. It definitely reduces the lines, puffiness and dark circles and can even be applied throughout the day if your eyes are feeling tired.
I have been loving using this and it’s definitely up there with my favourite eye creams. I’ve also noticed that a little seems to go a long way so hopefully this will last me quite a while.
Next we have the Ceramic Slip Cleanser, with the new (and much nicer) packaging. This is the super deluxe size and is a great size to take away with you. The full size costs £28.00, but this is a good size.
Ceramic Slip is a plant-based foaming cleanser that cleans, hydrates, nourishes and reduces the appearance of pores. Plant-based saps lift away dirt, makeup, pollution and excess oil without drying or damaging the skin. Then French clay and rice oil esters protect the skin from becoming dehydrated, and leave you with a clear and smooth complexion that feels beautifully nourished.
I’ve been using Ceramic Slip for years and I love it. I love it even more since they made the packaging easier and prettier.
Good Genes Glycolic Acid Treatment is a Sunday Riley cult classic (they’ve had to change from Lactic Acid for the UK which you can read about here). I’m a big fan of this stuff and for them to include a full size worth £85.00 shows you just how good value the Mintd Box Presents Sunday Riley box really is.
Good Genes works as a moisturiser and mask to refine, clarify and rejuvenate the skin. It contains glycolic acid, lactic acid, lemongrass and prickly pear extract that all sink into the skin and work to remove debris whilst unblocking pores and minimising the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It also helps the skin to regain radiance, gently exfoliates and boosts the complexion.
I adore Good Genes and think that it is something everyone should have in their skincare regime. I’m not even ashamed to admit that I’ve got about 5 bottles of this stuff lined up as it is that good.
Last but certainly not least, we have C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C & Turmeric Face Oil. This is a super deluxe size but it’s a good size bottle and considering this is a very recent new launch from Sunday Riley, I’m impressed that it’s included in the box (you can read a full review here).
Sunday Riley do facial oils really well, and C.E.O. Glow is no exception. If you want a radiant, glowing complexion then this is for you. Vitamin C, evening primrose, cold-pressed raspberries and golden turmeric extract all work together to make this one of the nicest oils I’ve ever tried. It is rich in antioxidants and calms irritated skin, whilst evening out the tone, brightening and adding much needed radiance.
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now as Sunday Riley also sent me a bottle and I’m a huge fan of it. My skin is definitely starting to look brighter and there’s a lovely radiance developing.
If you’ve never tried Sunday Riley before then this is an amazing box to get you familiar with the brand and some of their products. With a value of over £200.00, the Mintd Box Presents Sunday Riley box is fab value for money and a delight for skincare lovers.
