When Pixi Beauty send you some of their face masks, you know what you need to do … multi-masking! I love multi-masking and I couldn’t wait to put these beauties to the test.
You can use each mask on its own, but I prefer to use multiple masks designed to target each specific area of the skin. What works on your T-Zone might not necessarily be what the rest of your face needs, so you can tailor your masking depending on your needs.
First up in my Pixi Beauty Multi-Masking regime, is the T-Zone Peel Off Mask.
I do like peel-off masks and my T-Zone was in dire need of a bit of attention. My skin is so interchangeable – one minute my T-Zone can be quite oily and then the next it is dry and flaky.
As well as looking like some amazing pale green metallic highlighter on the skin, this is a powerful little mask. It detoxifies the skin by drawing out the impurities and lifting away any excess oil. With green tea to firm and act as an antioxidant, seaweed to renew and condition and avocado to hydrate and smooth, this works wonders. There’s also a green super food blend including aloe, cucumber and bamboo extract to help firm and refine the skin. You see and feel the results immediately.
Just don’t be a dick like me and pay attention when you’re applying it – you do not want to get this in your hairline and on your brows … trust me. If you are as dizzy as me, then don’t even attempt to peel it around those areas. Instead use a damp cloth to gently rub the mask away.
I love a mud mask and the Glow Mud Mask is no exception.
If you want your complexion to be purified and to have a lovely glow, then this is your guy. The mask is rich in minerals and works to absorb oil, draw out impurities and fight breakouts. All of this whilst giving your complexion an energising boost.
Kaolin Clay deep cleanses and purifies whilst Sea Salt helps to detoxify the skin. There is also Ginseng and Aloe Vera to brighten, clarify and balance the skin. I apply this to everywhere left after applying the T-Zone mask, leaving a space around my under eye area.
Ok so these eye patches might just be my new favourite thing ever!
I permanently look tired and my under eye can get really dark and puffy and I hate it. Help is at hand with these amazing hydrogel eye patches. They contain hyaluronic acid and caffeine to smooth, depuff and reduce dark circles. They feel so hydrating and are ideal for waking up tired eyes.
Now you’d think that you’d apply these with the thickest part nearer the inner eye, but you don’t. Instead the thicker part goes under the outer corner and it makes sense. The patch follows the eye contour perfectly. I love them a lot.
Finally, after I’ve finished with the other masks, I finish off with a little sheet mask.
The GLOW Glycolic Mask is instantly brightening and hydrating and contains a glycolic acid serum. There are also herbal extracts that improve and maintain the health of your skin resulting in luminous skin with a beautiful glow. After 15 minutes, just remove the mask and pat any excess serum into the skin.
