When a large toiletry bag (that you can hang up so ideal for holidays), arrived full of goodies from the Pixi Beauty Rose collection, I was a little overwhelmed. Pixi are always so generous with their PR packages which means I get to tell you all about their new releases. My to-do list currently contains a few of their parcels so there will be more Pixi posts coming up soon.
Usually, I’m not a fan of rose-scented products, but I get on well with the Pixi Beauty Rose products as they don’t remind me of the smell of grandmothers. Their skincare is always lovely to use and I have enjoyed trying all of these out.
I’ve used a few of these products before, but a couple of them were new to me and I’ve been impressed with all of them.
I can be quite picky when it comes to skincare, but I’ve enjoyed using the Pixi Beauty Rose collection. I’ll cover briefly the products available so you can get an idea of what might appeal to you and your skincare needs.
Usually the Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths are infused with Grapeseed Oil but these are infused with Chamomile and Rose. Now I prefer to remove my makeup with proper cleansing, but there are some days when I’m shattered or it’s really late and a wipe is a Godsend. Your makeup is removed easily and your skin is left feeling clean and balanced.
The Pixi Tonics are all lovely and the Rose Tonic is no exception. It naturally soothes the skin as well as toning, balancing the skin’s pH, and minimises redness. Your skin is left feeling rehydrated, replenished and refreshed.
All good skincare routines require a good cleanser and the Rose Cream Cleanser fits the bill. It is nourishing and rich in mineral mud and cleanses your skin beautifully as well as softening and strengthening the skin. With rose and avocado to condition and chamomile and aloe vera to soothe, this has been lovely to use.
If your skin is in need of deep, long-lasting nourishment then you need the Rose Ceramide Cream. Infused with ceramides and rose oil, it deeply hydrates the skin and is perfect if your skin is feeling dry and tight. Antioxidant-rich botanicals work to protect the skin against environmental aggressors as well as improving the elasticity of the skin.
One of my favourite things that Pixi do are their mists. The Makeup Fixing Mist is wonderful and one of my favourites. As you’d expect, it prolongs the wear of your makeup, sets it in place and stops it from melting or settling into your lines or pores. The formula is infused with rose water and green tea and it comforts, protects and balances the skin leaving you with a lovely fresh face.
Another mist that I love using is the Rose Glow Mist. It is a dual-phase elixir that contains 7 flower oils, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. The mist helps to improve the skin’s elasticity and protect against free radicals,as well as moisturising and leaving you with a beautiful healthy glow.
One of my skincare saviours is the Rose Flash Balm. I always look tired and exhausted so this is perfect for that little pick me up that my complexion needs. The balm is a 3-in-1 oil-free formula that absorbs quickly and instantly moisturises and brightens the skin. I mostly use it as a primer or on its own on no makeup days, but it also works well as a revitalising mask. Your skin is left looking bright and radiant and the tiredness is banished.
The Rose Caviar Essence is perfect for hydrating and brightening the skin. Flower oils are encapsulated in the serum and fresh botanicals are delivered to the skin. It softens, refines and tones and it is full of antioxidant rich natural oils. I love how this leaves my skin looking and feeling.
Finally, we have the Rose Oil Blend. I hadn’t used this before I was sent this package but it is really nice to use. It’s a botanical blend that is infused with youth-preserving oils in order to improve elasticity and radiance. The complexion is left feeling nourished thanks to sweet almond, rosehip, jojoba, pomegranate seed and rose geranium oils. I love how smooth and soft this leaves my skin.
So if you like rose, or just want to give your skin a bit of a treat, head on over to the Pixi site and go wild.
