Awards season has well and truly kicked off and the Temple Spa Red Carpet Collection is ideal for giving you that show-stopping look. I’ve kindly been sent a few of the products and have been testing them out for a few weeks and they definitely win an award from me.
We all want to look our best and feel amazing, so it has been fun trying these out and I’ve been very impressed. I didn’t even know that Temple Spa did makeup – I thought it was just skincare and body care. The Temple Spa Red Carpet Collection contains just about everything you could possibly need to look ready to face the paps and the bits I have tried have been amazing.
The Big Reveal (£40.00) is a glycolic facial peel that leaves you with the softest, smoothest skin ever.
This is liquid exfoliation at its finest. The formula contains natural exfoliating ingredients as well as botanicals to lift away dead skin cells and any surface debris. The best bit? It takes no time at all. You just massage a thin layer onto the face, leave it to dry for just 50 seconds and then you work in circular motions to roll away the product. Quickly use a damp cloth to clean the face and you are left with smooth and glowing skin. This is actually genius!
You can’t be red carpet ready without a good face mask and The Contourist (£50.00 for 6) is perfect.
This is not just any old face mask – it is effectively an instant facelift and who doesn’t want that? Diamond weave technology basically hugs your face nice and tight and then infuses your skin with a skin-perfecting serum. There’s a wide range of ingredients to lift, hydrate, brighten and smooth out the skin. After just 20 minutes your skin looks tighter, smoother and more radiant … ready for the red carpet.
Designed to be the last step in your skincare regime, Velvelutto (£30.00) is the face base of dreams.
Housed in a Burberry-esque compact, Velvelutto is a powder-cream skin-enhancing foundation face base that is so velvety smooth you’re going to want to just stroke your face. It conceals, smooths and protects the skin, leaving you looking healthy with a beautiful soft focus finish. Velvelutto also adjusts the shade to match your skin’s pH giving you a gorgeous, natural base.
Last but not least, we have Glint (£20.00) to conceal away any imperfections that you don’t want to walk the carpet with.
Glint is an adjustable coverage concealer that instantly camouflages any lines, circles and shadows that could ruin your look. It is rich in pomegranate and raspberry oil, both of which have anti-ageing properties and it is lovely and hydrating under your eyes. The coverage is buildable and it leaves your under eye area looking brighter and more awake. Best of all, I’ve had zero creasing with it.
I am so impressed with the bits that I have tried from the Temple Spa Red Carpet Collection and I look forward to trying more from them.
