theBalm Nude Beach is the latest addition to my palette collection. I used to be obsessed with theBalm palettes, so I was quite excited when this arrived.
Even though it feel like summer has well and truly vanished and autumn is fast approaching, I’m still feeling the summer makeup vibes, so with 12 sun-kissed shades, this palette will still get plenty of use. I love the packaging, and that’s one thing that theBalm always do well – it’s always fun, light-hearted and a little tongue-in-cheek and I like that.
theBalm Nude Beach Shadows
The palette contains 12 shadows and the pigments are triple-milled and feel nice and satiny. There were no shades that felt dry or chalky and the colour payoff on the majority of the shades is amazing. This is a very well put together palette and the shadows can be used wet or dry. Ok, so the pan size isn’t brilliant and it does feel like product space has been sacrificed for the design, but you can still get your brush in the pan easily.

Whilst theBalm Nude Beach has undoubtedly been marketed as a summer palette, I can also see it working really well throughout autumn. I love the mix of browns, coppers and oranges as these are the shades I am drawn to the most at the moment.
I can see this palette suiting pretty much everyone, but if you’re brunette like me then this will seriously suit you. It is gorgeous and has reminded me why I used to love theBalm palettes so much.
