I hadn’t heard of Willow Beauty until they contacted me asking if I wanted to try a few products. After a quick look at what they did and being drawn in by the pretty pastel packaging, I decided to say yes.
So who are Willow Beauty?
Willow Beauty was founded back in 2007 by Sue Stowell and her two daughters. They are committed to natural and organic skincare and have launched a new range to their collection – Sorbet Glow. Now I have been toying with the idea of Botox for a while but Mick isn’t keen, so this range sounds ideal. The products contain the natural active ingredient Gatuline Expression, which is described as natural Botox. With promises of a reduction in the appearance of crows feet, fine lines and wrinkles this sounds like it could be the answer to my wrinkly prayers.
Gatuline Expression provides an effective solution to the demand for rapid reduction of facial wrinkles. Hailed as a natural alternative to Botox it is extracted from the upper parts of the Acmella oleracea plant.
Whilst I mostly use cleansing balms, I do like finding a good cleansing wash.
This is gentle but still nice and effective and thanks to Bamboo extracts, you also get a nice gently exfoliation as you wash your face. Acai and Chamomile oils also help to calm your face and have anti-bacterial properties. If your skin is oily or you have blemishes, the wash has astringent qualities and your skin is left glowing thanks to vitamins. It is rich in antioxidants to protect your skin and also has potent strengthening properties.
After using, your skin feels nice and clean and definitely softer. I have been using this in the morning but it did tackle removing most of makeup when I tested it in the evening. Personally, I prefer using it when I get up as it does leave my face feeling clean, fresh and ready for the day ahead.
Dual purpose products please me so this mask is perfect.
It cleanses the skin whilst also providing the skin with deep nourishment. Impurities are removed and your complexion is left looking brighter. The mask contains coconut extract which is hydrating, nourishing and easily absorbed. If you have bacterial infections, inflammation, red dry skin or acne, then you need this. With anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral qualities, you know that your skin is being looked after.
After using this, I find my that my skin feels smooth, hydrated and looks brighter and fresher. I like that the coconut extract removes surface dead skin cells and that it will help to prevent premature ageing.
Finally there’s a little treat for whilst you sleep.
This balm is so rich and creamy and it plumps out your fine lines thanks to vitamin rich Acai oil. The oil absorbs easily and restores the skin’s elasticity levels and tackles dry and cracked skin. It also contains nutritious fatty acids, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. Music to my ageing ears! Cranberry seed oil also helps to improve elasticity and regeneration and Rhododendron flower extract works to soothe the skin.
I’ve been loving using this before bed and have definitely noticed that my lines are looking a little less noticeable. My skin feels so soft and moisturised and this is well worth a try.
I’d highly recommend checking out Willow Beauty and especially their Sorbet Glow range.
